In this literal war to gain market shares over natural diamonds, the driving forces behind man made diamonds have pulled out all the tricks and stops and are clearly intent on making man made diamonds appealing to the masses by any means necessary. If diamonds are such a con, why are they coveted by the masses? A con is to get the masses to covet worthless gemstone look-a-likes.
